How can I take ownership of a Bubble in Rainbow?
Resolution
Ownership of a Bubble can be transferred in two main scenarios:
Scenario 1: The current owner is still active and wants to transfer ownership
If the current owner is part of the Bubble and wishes to hand over ownership to another member:

Promote the new member to Organizer
The current owner must first assign the Organizer role to the intended new owner. -
Transfer ownership
Once promoted, the current owner can transfer ownership of the Bubble.
Note: The new owner's Rainbow subscription may not include the ability to start conferences within the Bubble. Please verify their subscription level before transferring ownership.
Scenario 2: The current owner has left the company, the account has been deleted.
If the original owner is no longer available:
- As a Business Partner: Submit a service request (SR) or send an email to support@openrainbow.com
- As an End Customer: Please contact your Rainbow Reseller (ALE Business Partner), who can open a support ticket on your behalf
- Include the following details in your request:
- Name of the Bubble
- Username or email of the current (inactive) owner
- Username or email of the new owner
- Reason for the ownership change
Once your request is received, the Rainbow Support Team will review the information and proceed with updating the Bubble ownership as appropriate.
