Issue
There are various reasons why a company administrator may need to change a member's login e-mail address, for example if the member has married and changed their surname, or if the company has merged or been bought out and the domain name of all members needs to be changed.
Option 1 - User-by-user modification
- Go to the admin interface
- Go to the members section
- Select the user
- Go to tab Security
- Replace the New identifier with the new e-mail address and apply
Option 2 - Bulk modification
- Prepare your csv file using the template attached to this article
- Go to the admin interface
- Go to the members section
- Select Import
- Select CSV
- Upload your csv file, give a name to this import action, click Import
- In the Import Summary, tick the checkbox "Do you want to start the import process?" and click Import
Note: Updating e-mail addresses also works with the LDAP connector from version 3.2.0 onwards.
