Rename recordings anytime (Web/Desktop/iOS/Android)
Weâre introducing flexible recording naming to improve organization and search. You can set or change names before or after a recording, while names remain locked during active sessions. Renamed titles will instantly appear across the recording list and recap views, making it easier to find and manage your recordings.
ÂSave images directly to their device gallery (Android)
Android users can now save images directly to their device gallery from the chat photo viewer. Simply open any photo in fullâscreen and use the new save option to store the currently displayed image.
ÂStatus Message Indicator (iOS/Android)
Introduce a status message indicator in the top-left navigation bar, positioned next to the user avatar, to provide a quick view of the userâs current status. Tapping it opens status message configuration.
ÂBulk deletion of mention notifications (Web/Desktop only not yet on mobile)
You can now delete "mention" notifications in bulk from the Notification Center. Use Delete all to remove all mention notifications, or Delete read to remove only the mentions youâve already read while keeping unread ones visible.
ÂRainbow Bar (Desktop)
The Rainbow Bar is a quick, always-on shortcut bar for Rainbow that users can place anywhere on their screens. It remains visible when the main Rainbow window is minimized and can also be brought up when a call is active. In its idle state, it provides access to search, notifications, the call log, and headset settings. When a call is in progress, it allows the user to accept or terminate the call and to control screen sharing
ÂWebHID Support for Headset Call Control (Web and Desktop)Â
WebHID gives the Rainbow web app direct access to USB HID reports, covering the basics of headset call control â hook switch, mute sync, ring LED â with no driver or SDK installed on the client. The user must grant device permission.Â
WebHID protocol does not provide a facility for multiple applications to coexist. To avoid race conditions, the user must grant access to only one application or disable WebHID when using other clients simultaneously.
For the Rainbow Web application, browser support is a hard limit: Chrome and Edge only. The end-user has the possibility to enable/disable the use of WebHID via the audio/video settings inside the Rainbow Client.
Â[Rainbow Hub] Group voicemail log enhancement (Web/Desktop/mobile)
The group voicemail log now benefits from the same improvements as the group call log. You can copy a callerâs number or create a new contact in one step, making followâups quicker and easier.
Â[Rainbow Hub][Admin] Numbering Format customization (Wed/Desktop)
Rainbow Hub now gives Cloud PBX administrators the ability to define up to 50 custom transformation rules on their numbering plan, finally closing a major gap with the hybrid OXE/OXO world. In practice, an admin can handle extension aliases, adapt regional dialing formats, customize emergency numbers, block specific destinations, or create a voicemail shortcut, all through regular expressions applied before any automatic Rainbow conversion. Each rule defines a match pattern, a replacement string with support for dynamic variables, a telephony category for barring purposes, and a description. Rules are active exclusively when Optimized Dialing mode is enabled, currently supported in France, UK, Australia, Belgium, Germany, and Spain, with US & Canada coming soon, and can be configured directly from the Web Admin interface.Â
Â[Rainbow Hub] New DECT 8244 handset support (Web/Desktop)
Rainbow Hub expands its DECT ecosystem with support for the new Alcatel-Lucent 8244 SIP-DECT Handset (part number 3BN67398AA, available to order as of June 15, 2026). This rugged handset â large color screen, noise reduction, rubber-backed grip, Bluetooth headset connectivity â extends the existing range by adding emergency call and alarm notification capabilities through dedicated CPE-based alarm servers. It operates with the 8328 SIP-DECT Single Base Station and 8368 SIP-DECT Multi-cell Base Station running firmware V781 or above, on all voice subscriptions. Available across 18 European countries (including France, Germany, Spain, and the UK).Â
Â[Rainbow Hub][Admin] Extend the Maximum Value for Overflow timer (Web/Desktop)
The call queue overflow timer maximum has been raised from 15 minutes (900s) to 60 minutes, allowing organizations with longer service workflows to keep callers in queue before triggering overflow, without relying on workarounds.Â
Â[Rainbow Hub][Analytics] New KPIs about call duration and waiting time in group reports (Web/Desktop)
Get more insights in the email reports you can configure for your groups and call queues  : 12 new key indicators are now available around call duration and waiting time.
Â[Rainbow Hub][Admin] Redesign of the Hub Group Reports configuration  (Web/Desktop)
This update redesigns the Hunt Group Reports configuration screen to align with the Rainbow Analytics UI, improve layout clarity, and better separate configuration sections. It also replaces the confusing duplication workflow with a clearer âCreate from existing reportâ approach while ensuring compatibility with centralized report management.
Â[Hybrid Telephony] Other Phone â Improved Destination Dialog (Web/Desktop)
"Other Phone" is the telephony mode that lets users reroute calls to any external phone number (home, hotel, etc.) while keeping control within Rainbow. A new dialog UI is now available to search for the destination number in directories or favorites, improving efficiency and reducing manual entry errors.Â
Â[Admin] Extension Manifest Improvements (Desktop/Web)
Extension manifest files shared and deployed by an admin can now be updated without breaking the user's link and without requiring redeployment to end users.Â
Â[Analytics] Analytics Improve the display in case of close values and overlaps (Web/Desktop)
This enhancement improves readability by reducing visual clutter and focusing attention on the most meaningful values. It makes the display clearer and more intuitive, especially when data points are limited or very close together.
ÂSupport for Machines Without GPUÂ (Desktop)
Video processing features such as background blurring typically benefit from GPU acceleration. On machines without a dedicated GPU, this can result in degraded rendering quality. A new setting allows Rainbow users disabling hardware acceleration for users facing performance issues, maintaining acceptable rendering on low-spec machines.Â
Â[Quality] Support of Android 17 for mobile (Android)
Rainbow app is fully compatible with the new Android 17 version. Useful for those playing with Android 17 beta versions. GA of Android 17 is coming soonâŠÂ
