Contact display
A new user option allows you to show all matching contact cards from multiple directories when several entries share the same email address. Without this option enabled, only the Rainbow account associated with that email address is displayed. -
Desktop Mini-bar
An option is now available to keep a Rainbow mini‑bar permanently visible on top of the screen. This mini‑bar provides quick access to key features, including a search/call field, the Notification Center, call logs, voicemail, and audio configuration. -
Pop‑out Recording Player (Desktop app/Web Client)
A pop‑out mode is now available for the recording player. Users can detach the player into a separate window using the Pop‑out button, allowing them to watch a recording while continuing to work in Rainbow or elsewhere on their computer. The external window includes a Bring back button that returns the player to the main app without losing the current playback position. -
Android audio output device selection
A new setting lets you choose the audio output device during a call (P2P calls audio and video, Conferences calls PBX calls Webinars). When a Bluetooth device is connected, you can switch between the integrated earpiece speaker, the integrated loudspeaker, or the Bluetooth headset/earpiece. Needs a mobile running Android 13 or higher. -
Analytics - Audio Quality
Audio quality reporting has been enhanced. When poor audio quality is detected, an icon now indicates whether the issue originates on the local side, the remote side, or the network. Additional details such as jitter, RTT, and packet loss can be viewed, along with explanations of how they affect the audio stream and tips to help diagnose and resolve the issue. -
Rainbow Hybrid - OXE CCD
The caller’s waiting time, as provided by the OXE system, is now displayed on incoming CCD calls. This allows agents to immediately see how long the caller has been in the queue before answering.. -
Rainbow Hub - Group call log
The group call log has been improved with two new actions: you can now copy a caller’s phone number directly from the log, and you can create a new contact from a call‑log entry in a single step. -
Rainbow Hub - Call park BLF on desk phone
A new Park key can now be configured in the Rainbow Web client for both admins and end users, with each key linked to a park slot (1–9) and a custom label. Once created, a corresponding BLF soft key appears on the desk phone, showing idle when the slot is free and busy when a call is parked. Pressing an idle slot parks the current call via blind transfer, while pressing a busy slot retrieves the parked call. The system automatically enforces Blind Transfer override for any user with park/unpark keys, and this policy cannot be changed unless the keys are removed. -
Authentication OIDC
Support for OpenID‑based logout has now been implemented, allowing Rainbow to trigger a full user logout through the identity provider
The option "Automatically log out from identity provider when logging out from Rainbow" is set by default on new configuration.
