How to use the Beta version
Depending of the Rainbow Client you may either switch to the Beta version with a Setting in the app (PC client) or have to download the app with a dedicated tool (Testflight for iOS or Firebase App Tester for Android).
Add the BETA license to the user
As an Admin go to the Members list, select the user and in the tab "Services" add the option Beta
Rainbow web client
In your settings page you'll have a new menu to choose your Deployment Environment
After selecting Beta, the page will reload automatically
To switch back to production version, just select DEFAULT in this menu
Rainbow Desktop application
Just like in the Rainbow Web client, you can now enable the Beta channel from the General settings. Once activated, an update pop‑up will guide you to install the Desktop Beta version.
For Beta deployment testing or environments where updates are handled by IS/IT teams, installation files can be downloaded directly.
