Issue
How to take the ownership of the channel if the current owner of the channel left the company (Rainbow account deleted).
Resolution
- Open a support ticket
- As a Business Partner: Submit a service request (SR) or send an email to support@openrainbow.com
- As an End Customer: Please contact your Rainbow Reseller (ALE Business Partner), who can open a support ticket on your behalf - Provide following information for the owner change
- Channel name
- Current owner of the channel (email address)
- New owner (email address)
- Reason for the ownership change. - Once the request received from the rainbow support team, the owner of the channel can be updated/changed based on the service request.
Note: While the ownership of a channel can be transferred, the name of the original creator will continue to be displayed.
