Manage Messages Notifications

1. Click on your Avatar on the left menu of your screen.
2. In the menu, choose " Settings" and click on " Notifications" to open the config page.
3. Uncheck the box " Display a notification when receiving a message" to disable all notification pop-ups announcing a new message.
4. Uncheck the box " Play a sound when receiving a message" to disable the ringtone announcing a new message. There are 3 types of messages (standard, information & important) that can be managed independently. Lean more
5. You can change the duration of the notification display from "Notification duration".

Tips: In addition to being able to disable sounds for messages, you can also change the ringtone for each type of message. Choose a ringtone from the pick list associated with the selected message type. You can click on the icon from the menu to listen a preview of the ringtone.

Note: If your status is Do not disturb, notifications are automatically turned off.

Warning:  "Important messages" display a notification even if you disable them in your settings.

1. Press the "Menu" icon in the top bar of your screen.
2. In the menu, choose " Settings" to open the config screen.
3. Then press "Customize notifications" to access the Rainbow properties.
4. On this screen you can choose to enable or disable all Rainbow notifications by pressing the "All Rainbow notifications " button.
5. You can also manage the notifications for each type of message (change the ring tone or disable the notification) by pressing either the " Default notification" or " Important message" button.

Tips: The configuration of "Default Notification" will apply to standard and information messages while the configuration of "Important Message" will apply to messages marked important by the sender. Learn more

Note: The settings screens and the choice of ringtone depends on your smartphone and may be different depending on your manufacturer or operating system.

Tips: iOS does not allow you to specify a different ring tone for each type of message. The ringtone will therefore correspond to the general settings of your smartphone for all messages. Learn more

1. Go to the conversation you wish to manage the notifications.
2. Click on the button "Other actions" in the right side of the top banner.
3. In the menu, choose " Turn off notifications" to disable the sound and pop-up of any new messages in the conversation.
4. You can reactivate the notifications by clicking on " Turn on notifications" in the same menu.

Note: You can also reactivate the notifications thanks to the shortcut  displayed in the conversation, next to the name of your interlocutor.

2. Click on " Setting".
3. Uncheck the "Enable notifications " toggle.
   
4. You can reactivate the notifications by pressing on " Enable notifications" in the same menu.
