Join a Bubble

Is your team using Rainbow for a project?  Join a Bubble that brings everyone together in one conversation. Bubbles are the focal point of project communication and bring messages, shared files, and Web Conferences together in one place.

The Owner of a Bubble has several options to allow you to join the group conversation. It allows you to quickly join a Bubble even if you don't have a Rainbow account.

Accept an invitation to join a Bubble (as user)

Bubble Organizers can invite you to join their Bubble in Rainbow. In this case, you will receive an invitation available in your "Notifications Center".

  1. Invitations to join a Bubble are listed in the "notifications_center.svgNotification Center."
  2. You can "check--filled.svg accept" or "clear--filled.svg decline" an invitation to join a Bubble.
  3. If you get the invitation, you will have access to the Bubble and the entire conversation history.
  4. You can retrieve all the group conversations you participate in by clicking on the icon "Bubble" in the left menu.
  1. Open the " tab_bubble.svgBubbles" space.
  2. Select "accept_android.svg" to Accept the invitation or "decline_android.svg" to Decline.

Note: If you decline an invitation to join a Bubble, the person who invited you will not be notified of your refusal. If you accidentally turned them down, you will have to wait for the Bubble Owner to invite you back again.

Join a Bubble using a direct link (as user)

Did a Bubble Organizer share you a bubble link? Thanks to this type of link you can join a Bubble with a simple click.

  1. Click on the direct link you received, e.g., by email. The link will open in your default web browser.
  2. Select the Rainbow application you wish to use to join the Bubble (Web or Desktop application).
  3. If you have a session open on this application, you will be automatically redirected to the Bubble and integrated into the list of Members.
  4. If you do not have an open session on this application, you will need to log in before entering the Bubble and integrating into the list of Members.
  5. You can retrieve all the group conversations you participate in by clicking on the icon "Bubble" in the left menu.

Warning: Your default browser is not necessarily the one you are used to using with Rainbow. If it is, copy the link and insert it in the address bar of the Rainbow-compatible browser.

Tips : You can also use a direct link even if you don't have a Rainbow account. Choose "The first Time on Rainbow " and enter your first and last name. You will join the Bubble as a Guest , as presented in the next part of this article.

Join a Bubble as a guest

The Bubble Owner can invite you to join their Bubble even if you don't have a Rainbow account. In this case, you will receive an invitation by email that will allow you to participate in the conversation by simply indicating your first and last name.

  1. You have received an email inviting you to participate in a Bubble. The email includes the name of the person requesting you, the name of the bubule.
  2. Click on the "Join" button at the bottom of the email to open the discussion. The link will open in your default web browser.
  3. Select the Rainbow application you wish to use to join the Bubble (Web or Desktop application). If the Desktop application is not installed on your computer, don't hesitate to use your web browser.
  4. To connect as Guest, enter your first and last name and click on the "Join" or "Continue".
  5. Rainbow will ask you to configure your camera, microphone, and speakers. Set them up and click Join the conference
  6. Once in Rainbow, you will have access to the Bubble and the entire history of the conversation (messages, files shared, etc.).
  7. You, in turn, can send messages and participate in Web Conferences.

Tips: You can turn your Guest account into a Essential account for free and benefit from many additional features!

Join a Bubble by phone

Role required : Bubble Owners with an Enterprise/ Voice Enterprise subscription, and with a "Dial-in" option. "Dial-in" option requires either an Enterprise Dial-in pack Monthly or Voice Enterprise Dial-in pack Monthly or Dial-in per use Monthly subscription.

You can invite people to join a web conference directly by phone. This option allows you to quickly add members who do not have a Rainbow account.
