Boost your channel by inviting members and adding publishers!
Note: The people you can invite or who can subscribe to your Channel depend on the settings you chose (Company or Public) when you created your Channel. Lean more
Invite new members
Owner of a channel can invite new members to join the channel. Except for the Restricted mode in Company channels, invitees are pending in the channel until they have accepted to join the channel.
- Go to Channel space clicking on the " Information channels" in the left menu.
- Select a channel and click " Setting" in the right panel.
- Click on " Manage members". The status of each user is display behind their name (Invitation sent, Owner, etc).
- Find members by typing their name or email in the search bar and click "Invite". They will receive a notification.
- Go to Channel space clicking on the " Channels" in the bottom of the screen.
- Tap " My channels" next to the search window above.
- Tap " More action" on the channel.
- Tap on " Manage members". The status of each user is display behind their name (Invitation sent, Owner, etc).
- Find members by typing their name or email in the search bar and click " Invite". They will receive a notification.
- Owner: It's you! You have created the Channel. You have the right to manage your subscribers and delete other people's postings.
- Invitation sent: People you have invited but who have not yet subscribe to your Channel.
- Allowed to publish: Subscribers you have promoted as Publisher for your Channel. They can create new posts and modify their own posts. They cannot manage channel subscribers or edit, or remove the posts of other publishers or owners.
- If no other details are displayed behind the name, the user is subscribed to your Channel!
Promote to Publisher role
Owner of a channel can promote one or several members of a channel to the Publisher role, so that several people can publish contents in that channel.
In the same way, the channel owner can remove the Publisher role to one or several members.
- Go to Channel space clicking on the " Information channels" in the left menu.
- Select a channel and click " Setting" in the right panel.
- Click on " More action" for the member.
- Click on " Promote to publisher role". For a demote, " Demote to member role" in the same way.
- Go to Channel space clicking on the " Channels" in the bottom of the screen.
- Tap " My channels" next to the search window above.
- Tap " More action" on the channel.
- Tap on " Manage members". The status of each user is display behind their name (Invitation sent, Owner, etc).
- Press and hold the member's name and select " Promote to publisher". For a demote, " Demote to member role" in the same way.
Note: The user you want to promote must first have subscribed to your Channel.
Remove members
Owner of a channel can remove people from channels ones they've joined or have been invited to join.
- Go to Channel space clicking on the " Information channels" in the left menu.
- Select a channel and click " Setting" in the right panel.
- Click on " Remove member".
- Go to Channel space clicking on the " Channels" in the bottom of the screen.
- Tap " My channels" next to the search window above.
- Tap " More action" on the channel.
- Tap on " Manage members". The status of each user is display behind their name (Invitation sent, Owner, etc).
- Press and hold the member's name and select " Remove member".
Note: If a publisher is deleted, posts that have already been published will remain visible, but users will no longer be able to create or modify them.
Note: A member whose account has been deleted will automatically be deleted from all the channels of which he was a member.
