Rainbow Classroom 3.1.0

New Features

• Stronger, simpler sign-in
  Passkey (passwordless) login and Two-Factor Authentication rolled out to all roles (Teachers, Students, Guests, Organization Admins, BP Admins, OPS), with recovery codes for 2FA and admin/OPS-controlled reset when a user loses access to their device. Login, activation and password-recovery screens were redesigned to match.
• Stud.IP now supported
  Rainbow Classroom can be launched and configured directly from Stud.IP courses, alongside Moodle, Canvas and Open LMS, with automatic mapping of course roles.
• New Roster module
  Classes, teachers and students managed in one place inside the Management Center, with full lifecycle support and role-based permissions.
• Fully redesigned Management Center and setup wizard
  Modern look and feel throughout, chart-based dashboards per role, breadcrumb navigation, searchable tables, license-expiry alerts, enhanced branding (extra theme color, dark-logo support, live logo preview), and easier control over which features are enabled for your organization.
• Comprehensive accessibility options
  A revamped accessibility menu with controls for contrast, brightness, line height, word spacing, color saturation, warm and reading modes and low-vision settings, plus improved contrast and readability across the interface.
• Improved live sessions
  Conferences can be popped out into their own window for easier multitasking, hosts choose between audio-only or audio + screen recording, participants can use a "Request to Speak" reaction, and images shared in chat can be annotated.
• Better templates and certificates
  Email and certificate templates can be created from Word documents, with a panel listing all available variables and copy-to-clipboard insertion; certificates can be previewed, attendance signatures work standalone and appear in reports, and template placeholders adapt to each user's language.
• More day-to-day productivity
  A Kanban board for tasks and Gantt views with monthly and weekly time-scales, bulk CSV import/export of tasks and bulk class deletion, plus external storage (Rainbow Storage, Google Drive, OneDrive) and calendar sync (Google, Outlook).

Main Fixes

• Reports and exports now accurate
  CSV exports respect the selected filters instead of exporting everything, and student reports show the correct start time, end time and duration.
• Faster and more dependable platform
  Data access modernized behind the scenes for quicker page and report loading, deployments now update automatically instead of relying on manual steps, failed jobs can be re-run, and sessions and new users stay synchronized with the Rainbow platform.
• Consistent multilingual display
  Role names, greetings, headings and logout labels now appear correctly in all supported languages.
• More reliable signature uploads
  Better file validation, clearer error messages, and the ability to reselect the same file.
• Interface glitches corrected
  Fixed the user menu overlapping other content, mismatched breadcrumb icons, theme preview/restore behavior, and text visibility in the Translation Workbench.
• Calls, recording and annotation stabilized
  Fixed the call overlay size after an abnormal call end, image overlay and annotation menu issues, and several recording problems.
• Better session and access reliability
  Management Center and Classroom can now run in the same browser tab, corrupted sessions are detected and recovered automatically, and Business Partner company onboarding issues were resolved.
• Smoother attendance flow
  The Certificate of Attendance step is now skipped automatically when a user has already signed for the same shift.
