Rainbow Telephony for Teams - version 3.7.9 (backend)

New features

• Call history
  • Add call history filtering options that allow users to quickly view calls by category: all, missed, incoming, or outgoing.
• Administration
  • The new profile option Activate “Do Not Disturb” Mode from Microsoft Teams allows administrators to control whether users can enable the Do Not Disturb (DND) status directly from Microsoft Teams. When enabled (Allowed), users can activate DND to silence notifications and incoming phone call alerts during focused or unavailable periods. When disabled (Not allowed), users are prevented from using the DND feature via Teams..
• Voicemail transcript
  • The transcript feature of Visual voice mail for Rainbow HUB and Rainbow hybrid with OXO is now available.
• Speed dial UI enhancement
  • Fixed the Speed Dial area to a maximum of four visible rows. When more than 20 speed dial entries are configured, additional contacts are now accessible via a dedicated vertical scrollbar, preventing the call history section from being pushed out of view.
• Extension (custo-manifest)
  • Add "Display Info" extension. The feature introduces a new display extension named on-main-display-actions, configurable via the custo-manifest and triggered during page loading. It allows injection of permanent, customizable content in the main Rainbow Teams UI, with support for Microsoft Teams via the alsoForTeams: true option. The displayed content can be retrieved dynamically from local files, REST APIs, or Rainbow bots, and supports Markdown-formatted text.
  • Add "Call History" extension. The feature enables support of the on-call-log-list-actions display extension within the Teams environment when alsoForTeams: true is configured. It adds a customizable action button with a defined icon to each item in the call history list, aligned with the same configuration capabilities as the web and desktop implementations. Supported actions include URL navigation, REST API calls, or Rainbow bot interactions but program execution is not supported.

• Call history
  • Resolved an issue where the call history would disappear or continue loading indefinitely when clicking “View More”.
• Contact
  • Resolved an issue where users were unable to add a contact to the Favorites list via the search bar in the Rainbow Teams app.
  • Resolved an issue where the contact search feature in the Rainbow add-in was not functioning properly in Microsoft Teams on mobile.
• Language
  • Resolved an issue where the date format was displayed incorrectly when the language was set to Catalan.
  • Corrected minor translation issues in the French language.
