You can use this article to link the connector installed on your premises to the right Rainbow company. It helps you complete registration safely, including cases where you manage several companies as a Business Partner or Organization Administrator.
Open the local console
On the connector host, open a browser to http://localhost:3001. For additional instances, use the port assigned to the instance.
Log in with a Rainbow administrator
- Click Login on the local console.
- Authenticate on the Rainbow OAuth page with a company administrator account.
- Accept connector activation.
- Return to the local console and verify that the connector displays the company, connector identifier and Rainbow connection status.
Multi-company registration
If you are a company administrator, Business Partner administrator or Organization Administrator, you can register the connector for a company you manage. When you manage several eligible companies, the connector displays an optional company selection step before completing registration.
The registration flow remains backward compatible: when the company can be inferred automatically, no selection is required. For multi-company administration, the registration request can include the selected companyId so the connector is attached to the correct Rainbow company.
