This article allows to migrate DECT Generic SIP to Zero Touch configuration which includes DECT Base Stations 8328 or 8368 and DECT devices.
Deregister Generic SIP devices
This action will facilitate the registration of SIP devices in Zero Touch mode.
- Connect to the DECT Base Station through the Web-based administration page.
- Unregister all DECT devices.
The DECT devices are powered on.
Go to Extensions -> select the extensions -> Deregister Handset(s)
Execute a factory reset of the DECT Base Stations
- Connect to the base station via the base station Web Administration.
Go to Management -> Default Base Station - It is also possible to do a hardware factory reset of the base station. It must be powered on. Just press the reset button for more than 10 seconds until the led stays red.

DECT device 8214 registration
- Power on one 8214 DECT handset. It should display 'Auto Install?'.
- To do an auto installation, Select SIP button.
- Once 'Registration success' is displayed, press the ok button.
- If the Auto install label is not displayed, it is possible to deregister the device manually.
Press the Settings key -> Connectivity -> Deregister -> Pin code: 0000 (default code)
- The DECT registration can also be done through Menu key -> Connectivity -> Easy Registration
Note: The Access code (AC) is used to allow the handset to register to the base station. Its value is 0000 so that easy registrations can be done.
