This document describes the configuration that applies to the Sangoma Vega 3000G, Vega 3050G, and 60G ATA device series using TCP for signaling and RTP for media.
Note: This version of the equipment does not support TLS and SRTP with the Rainbow platform.

Accessing the Device's Web Interface
Access the ATA box's web interface by entering its IP address in your web browser:
Enter the ATA box’s default user name and password:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Warning: Failing to edit the default password exposes the device to unauthorized access, data breaches, and fraud, which can compromise the security of the entire network and system. It also increases the risk of service interruptions and makes it difficult to monitor and prevent security breaches.
Network Configuration
Network Card Configuration
To configure the network card, go to the Configuration > Expert Config > Configuration > LAN/WAN menu
From this menu, edit the network card settings as follows:

DHCP: checked (preferred); otherwise, you’ll need to edit the following settings:
IP Address: The IP address of the ATA box
Default Gateway: The default gateway of the ATA box
Primary DNS Server: The DNS server being used
NTP Configuration
You must configure NTP before loading the certificates onto the device. To do this, go to the Configuration > Expert Config > System > NTP Parameters menu and edit the following values:
Use DHCP: Checked
SIP Configuration
User Configuration
You must enter the Rainbow user’s authentication information. To do this, go to the Configuration > Expert Config > SIP > Additional SIP Settings menu
Configuring the Registered Users Profile
Click the SIP Registration Users button in the SIP Registration Users Configuration menu:
Then edit the information as shown below:
SIP Profile: 1
DN: Rainbow user’s extension number
Username: Rainbow user’s extension number
Authentication User Index: Rainbow user's extension number
User Authentication
Click SIP Authentication in the SIP Authentication Configuration menu:
Then edit the information as shown below:
SIP Profile: 1
Username: Rainbow user extension number
Password: Rainbow user's password (device)
Subscriber: IF:XXXX ("XXXX" refers to the Rainbow user's extension number)
Configuring the SIP Profile
To configure the SIP profile, go to the Configuration > Expert Config > SIP > SIP Profiles menu, then edit SIP Profile 1 :
Domain Configuration
Enter the Rainbow platform’s domain name in the Local domain and Alternative Local Domain fields :
Configuring the Transport
Select TCP for the Transport field:
DTMF Configuration
Select RFC2833 for the DTMF Transport field :
SIP Proxy Configuration
In the IP/DNS Name field, enter the domain name of the Rainbow platform’s outbound proxy :
Configuring the Registration Server
In the IP/DNS Name field, enter the domain name of the Rainbow platform
Configuring the media profile to use
In the Capability Set field, select 1-voice
Media Configuration
Configuring the codecs
In the Configuration > Expert Config > Media menu, configure capability set 1 with the following codecs:

Allow Incoming and Outgoing Calls on the ATA Device
Go to the Configuration > Expert Config > System > Call Control menu and set the " All further calls are " field to " Unblocked " :
