This document describes the configuration to be applied to the Sangoma Vega 3000G, Vega 3050G, 60G ATA enclosure range in TCP for signaling and RTP for media.

Access to the equipment web interface
Access the ATA box's web interface by entering its IP address in your web browser:
Enter the default ATA box user name and password:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Warning: Failure to edit the default password exposes the device to unauthorized access, data breaches and fraud, which can compromise the security of the entire network and system. This also increases the risk of service interruption and makes it difficult to monitor and prevent security breaches.
Network configuration
Network card configuration
To configure the network card, go to the menu Configuration > Expert config > Configuration > LAN/WAN
From this menu, edit the network card settings with the following parameters:

DHCP: checked (preferred), otherwise edit the following parameters:
IP Address: The IP address of the ATA box
Default Gateway: The ATA box's default gateway
Main DNS server : The DNS server used
NTP configuration
It is mandatory to configure NTP before loading certificates onto the equipment. To do this, go to menu Configuration > Expert config > system > NTP Parameters and edit the following values:
Use DHCP: Checked
Certificate configuration
First, you need to download the certificate chain from the Rainbow platform. To do so, follow this link
Once you've retrieved the certificates, you'll need to import them into the device by going to the menu Configuration > Expert config > System > Upload/Download Files > TLS files > Root certificate file then click on the Browse button then Upload :
SIP configuration
User configuration
You need to enter the authentication information for the Rainbow user. To do this, go to menu Configuration > Expert Config > SIP > Additionnal SIP Settings
Profile configuration for registered users
Click on the SIP Registration Users button in the SIP Registration Users Configuration submenu:
Then edit the information as follows:
SIP Profile: 1
Dn: Rainbow user extension number
Username: Rainbow user extension number
Authentication User Index: Rainbow user extension number
User authentication
Click on SIP Authentication in the SIP Authentication Configuration submenu:
Then edit the information as follows:
SIP Profile: 1
Username : Rainbow user extension number
Password: Password for Rainbow user (device)
Subscriber: IF:XXXX ("XXXX" is the Rainbow user's extension number)
SIP profile configuration
To configure the SIP profile, go to menu Configuration > Expert Config > SIP > SIP Profiles and edit SIP profile 1 :
Domain configuration
Enter the domain name of the Rainbow platform in the Local domain and Alternative Local Domain fields :
Transport configuration
Select TLS for the Transport field:
DTMF configuration
Select RFC2833 for the DTMF Transport field:
SIP proxy configuration
In the IP/DNS Name field, enter the domain name of the Rainbow platform's outbound proxy :
Registration server configuration
Enter the domain name of the Rainbow platform in the IP/DNS Name field.
Setting the media profile to be used
In the Capability Set field, select 1-voice
Media configuration
Codec configuration
In the menu Configuration > Expert Config > Media, configure Capability Set 1 with the following codecs:

g711Ulaw64k
g729
Accept incoming and outgoing calls on the ATA box
Go to the Configuration > Expert Config > System > Call Control menu and set the All further calls are field to Unblocked :
