This document describes the configuration to be applied to AudioCodes' MP-20X ATA box range to interconnect it with the Rainbow solution in SIP TLS and SRTP.

Access to the equipment Web interface
Access the AudioCodes ATA box's web interface by entering its IP address in your web browser.
Enter the default ATA box user name and password:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Warning: Failure to edit the default password exposes the device to unauthorized access, data breaches and fraud, which can compromise the security of the entire network and system. This also increases the risk of service interruption and makes it difficult to monitor and prevent security breaches.
Network configuration
Network card configuration
To configure the network card, go to the Quick Setup menu.
From this menu, edit the network card settings with the following parameters:
IP address: The IP address of the ATA box
Default gateway: The ATA box's default gateway
Main DNS server : TheDNS server used
NTP configuration
NTP must be configured before certificates can be imported into the device. To do this, go to the Advanced > Time Settings menu and edit the following values:
Automatic time update: Checked
Protocol: Network Time Protocol (NTP)
Then, in the Time Server sub-menu, add a new entry for the IP address or domain of the NTP server:
Certificate configuration
First, download the certificate chain from the Rainbow platform. To do this, follow this link
To import certificates, you need to separate them into three parts. The box does not allow you to import the certificate chain. It is therefore essential to separate the certificates into three separate files, in .pem format.
Once you've retrieved the certificates, you need to import them into the device by going to the Advanced > Certificates menu, then to the CA sub-menu and clicking on the "plus" button. to add the 3 certificates:

User configuration
You need to enter the authentication information for the Rainbow user. To do this, go to the VoIP > Extension Definitions menu .
In the Extension Name field, enter the Rainbow user's number:
User authentication
To log-in users, go to the Voice over IP > Line definitions menu .
Fill in the following fields:
User ID: Rainbow platform user number
Show name: Rainbow platform user number
Authentication user name: Rainbow platform user number
Authentication password : Rainbow platform user password
SIP profile configuration
Proxy configuration
To configure the proxy, go to the Voice over IP > Signaling Protocol menu.
In the Signaling Protocol submenu, edit the following fields:

Media configuration
Activate SRTP
To activate SRTP, go to the Voice over IP > Media Streaming menu.
Then check the box SRTP: Enabled and in the method field, add AES_CM_128_ALL_METHODS
Codec configuration
ATA box codec configuration
In the Voice over IP > Media Streaming menu , enter the codecs in the following order:
DTMF configuration
In the Voice over IP > Dialing menu, set the "Send out-of-band DTMF" field to RFC2833.
Configuration of additional services
Setting up calls to voicemail
To enable the analog phone to call voicemail, you need to configure a prefix and transform the user part of the SIP To header into a "voicebox". To do this, go to the Voice over IP > Speed Dial menu and edit the rule as described below:
When the user dials 99, he'll be able to consult his voicemail.
Configuring advanced services
To configure the following services:
Call waiting
Call forward
DND
3 way conference
Message waiting indication
Go to the Voice over IP > Services menu and tick the items you're interested in:
To configure voicemail, in the MWI Server IP Address or Host Name field, enter the address of the Rainbow platform.
