This article allows to configure the multi-site for a customer company associated to a Cloud PBX.
One or more sites can be configured depending on the company's locations. Each site is associated to one or several public numbers, one or several company members, predefined music on hold (identical to the company), with the possibility to:
-
Configure a public number as the default public number for the site.
When company members of the site, without any assigned public number, make outgoing calls, the public number seen by the called party is the public number of the site, instead of the default public number configured for outgoing calls (i.e. Calling Line Identification (CLI) for outgoing calls): see: Configure telephony settings of company members.
-
Customize the music on hold for the site.
When the caller party is put on hold by a company member of the site, the music on hold associated to the site is played, instead of the music on hold of the company.
Regardless of the multi-site configuration, the following features remain unchanged within the company.
- Internal calls are available between company members from different sites
- The company members in a group (e.g. hunt group, hunt group with waiting queue) can belong to different sites
- Welcome services are common to all sites
- Company phone book is common to all sites
At multi-site configuration, it is not required to have all public numbers and company members associated to sites. In this case, they remain associated to the company.
