Define Call Routing
Define how to make and receive calls.
: open the call routing settings at the top left of the Rainbow Business Telephony window. The icon depends on the current call routing.
- Select the device or number to which your calls will be routed. The list depends on your configuration.
In the case of 'Other phone', you must enter the number manually and apply. - Current Call Routing is displayed at the top left of the Rainbow Business Telephony window. The icon depends on the call routing. Hovering over the icon provides more information.
Note: : This icon is displayed if the telephony service is unavailable or if your Rainbow license does not include telephony. Please contact your administrator.

Forward your Calls
Forwarding your calls allows you to define what your phone does when you receive an incoming call.
Depending on your configuration, you can:
- Forward your call to your voicemail.
- Forward your call to an identified contact.
- Forward your call to another number.
With the following conditions:
- No forward : you are available.
- Forwarding immediate
- Forward on busy
- Forward on no reply
- Forward on busy/no reply
Immediate Forward your Incoming Calls
: Select the forward icon.
- Select "
Other number" to define the number where your incoming calls will be routed.
- Use one of the following:
- Select the "By number" tab to enter a phone number using the international dialing format.
Choose "Internal number" or "
External number" depending on the destination. If it's an external number, select the corresponding country and enter the number in international format.
- Select the "Directory" tab to search for a contact by name in the Rainbow Business directory.
Select the "Internal number" icon next to the contact's name (the icon appears when you hover over the item in the list).
- Select the "Directory" tab to choose a favorite contact.
Select the "Internal number" icon in your FAVORITES list (the icon appears when you hover over the item in the list).
- Select the "Speed dial" tab to find and select a predefined speed dial key.
Select the "Internal number" icon of the speed dial (the icon appears when you hover over the item in the list).
- Select the "Apply" button.
Note: If a number was previously defined, you can select it directly ().
Forward on Busy or/and no Reply your Incoming Calls
: Select the forward icon.
- Select "
Settings" and the "Call forwarding" tab.
- Select the type of forward: "Forward on busy", "Forward on no reply", "Forward on busy/No reply".
- Select the destination : Other number or Voicemail depending on your configuration.
- In case of Other number, use one of the following:
- Select the "By number" tab to enter a phone number using the international dialing format.
Choose "Internal number" or "
External number" depending on the destination. If it's an external number, select the corresponding country and enter the number in international format.
- Select the "Directory" tab to search for a contact by name in the Rainbow Business directory.
Select the "Internal number" icon next to the contact's name (the icon appears when you hover over the item in the list).
- Select the "Directory" tab to choose a favorite contact.
Select the "Internal number" icon in your FAVORITES list (the icon appears when you hover over the item in the list).
- Select the "Speed dial" tab to find and select a predefined speed dial key.
Select the "Internal number" icon of the speed dial (the icon appears when you hover over the item in the list).
- Select the "Apply" button.
- Close the telephony settings window.
Note: You can also define an immediate forward from telephony settings window.
Cancel call forwarding
: Select the forward icon.
- Select "
No forward".
Note: You can also cancel call forwading from telephony settings window by selecting " Cancel call forwarding" in the type of forward list.
