TO BE NOTED: These applications will be updated using the blue-green method: the update will be spread over around one week.
The blue/green deployment method helps to minimize the risk of introducing failings during updates while limiting downtime during the transition to new versions.

Web application:
A banner will suggest that you reload the page to switch to the new version. If you refuse, the message will reappear in 30 minutes. -
Desktop applications:
Depending on your administrator's deployment choices, a pop-up window will prompt you to update the application, or to do so automatically on next start-up. You can also postpone your choice and redisplay the message within an hour. -
Mobile applications:
Depending on your administrator's deployment choices, the new versions will be published on the Google Playstore or Apple App Store at the time indicated. It may take up to several days for the new version to appear in the store. We recommend that you activate Rainbow's automatic updates for simplicity.
Why we're doing this?
As this is a major release, it will bring a number of new features and fixes as described in the Release notes.
