This article allows company administrators to configure the settings of their company members.
As a company administrator, you have control over the information and permissions of the company's users. Each new member of the company is assigned a default user profile that can be customized according to company needs: Lean more

Accessing the user profile configuration window
- From the Rainbow administration interface, click on the " Manage your company" at the bottom of the left panel.
- In the left panel, click on Your company.
- In the left panel, click on "Members".
- In the member list, select the target company member.
Configure User Information
You can configure personal information (first and last names, job title, department), user visibility in Rainbow and tags for quick search.
- In the user profile configuration window, select the "Information" tab.
- If needed, modify the personal information (last and first names, job title, department).
- In the Visibility field, select:
• Same as company (default option): the visibility defined at company applies.
• Public: the user is visible in Rainbow to everyone.
• Private: the user is only visible in Rainbow to other company members.
- In the Tags panel, configure tags for the company member.
Tags are keywords that can be used as search criteria in the business directory (for example: by company and/or job title): in the Add tags box, enter the name of the tag and press enter or comma key. - Click on Apply.
Note: The Presence field indicates the current user state in Rainbow and the date/hour of logout, if offline. For more information on the available agent states: see: Understand the Statuses.
Configure User Permissions
Permissions tab allows you to configure each user's Rainbow feature rights granting.
- In the user profile configuration window, select the "Permissions" tab.
- In the "Select the profile to restrict or grant services" field, select the profile to apply to the company member.
- Click on "Apply".
Configure User Services
Services tab allows you to set user license and options.
- In the user profile configuration window, select the Services tab.
- In the Subscription field, select the license to apply to the company member.
Each license provides access to specific features. For details on the features available by license, see: Feature list. - Activate one or more Options, if any.
- Click on Apply.
Note: Note: If you want to activate new licenses or increase the number of licenses, contact your Rainbow Reseller.
Warning: Warning: Once assigned a Voice Phone license, an administrator can no longer access the Rainbow application (Web/desktop) and the company's administration interface. The administrator is logged out from the Rainbow application as soon as he/she is assigned a Voice Phone by another administrator. To prevent there is no more members for company administration, you cannot assign yourself a Voice Phone license as an administrator.
Configure User Roles
Role tab allows you to configure user roles and access rights.
- In the user profile configuration window, select the Roles tab.
- In the Roles field, select Administration to grant the right to the company member to administrate his/her company.
- In the Business directory access rights field, select Modify the professional directory to delegate the business directory management to the company member.
- In the Webinars access rights field,
- For company member with an Enterprise license, grant the right to create webinars.
- Click on Apply.
Configure User Security
Security tab allows you to set user passwords and authentication policy.
- In the user profile configuration window, select the Security tab.
- In the Change User Password field, change the current password of the company member. Click on the icon to the right of the field to display the characters allowed for password entry.
- In the Change User Login field, change the current login e-mail address of the company member.
- In the User's Authentification Policy field, select the Sign-in method used for company member authentication.
- Click on Apply.
