The Rainbow Files space stores any files you send or receive in Rainbow. It is My files that consume this storage; Received files do not consume your storage.
You can filter and search for files you no longer need from storage to free up space.
Note: Storage defaults to 1GB and 20GB for the Enterprise plan.
Search a file
In File space you can see a breakdown of your file storage and detailed information about each file. To find files, you can use filters and sorting.
- Go to ”
File” space.
- You can type the name of the file in the search window.
- If you know whether you sent or received the file, click on the "
All files" on the top bar, and select "My files" or "Received files".
- You can change the order of your files. Click on "
Sort" next to the drop-down menu to sort by "Date", "Name", or "Size".
- If you know the file type, click on the "
Filter" next to the sort and select the file type.
- Click on a file preview to open that file.
- Click on the information section below the preview to see the details of that file in the right side panel.

Free up your space
Free up storage by deleting files you no longer need.
- Go to ”
- Click on the "Free up space" button at the bottom of the right side panel or open "
More action" on the top bar and select "
Free up space" on the top bar.
- You can select the file type from "
- It is most effective to delete large files first to free up storage space. Click on "
- Select files. In the storage bar, you can see how much space will be reduced.
- Click the "Deleted selected files" button and click "Delete".

Bulk file deletion
You can delete multiple files in one go, by month or by year, to quickly free up space on your account.
It is also possible to manually deselect files that you want to keep.
- Go to the Files tab.
- Click on
- Then choose: A complete period to delete, or each document individually, depending on your needs
