When your contact is part of your network, you can see the contact's presence status.
Colaboration with your contact depends on the presence status. Therefore, it is sometimes useful to be notified when they become available again.
Note: You can initiate a conversation only when your contact is connected, meaning they are " Online" "
Online on Mobile" or "
Away for a few seconds/minutes". The menu for making calls is not available if the status of your contact is "
Do not disturb" or "
Offline".
Be Notify when your Contact is Available
- Select a contact from your favorite, your recent conversations or Contacts Space. The Contact information tab is displayed.

Open the contextual menu on the right side of the top bar.
- Select the "
Notify me when the person becomes available" menu.
Note: You can cancel the notification request at any time by reopening the context menu and selecting the "
Turn off availability notification" menu.
