Create a Bubble
You can create a group conversation from the Rainbow Bubble Space. During creation, you need to define a name, a description, an illustration and a list of members.
- Open "
Bubbles" space in the left menu.
- Click on the "Create a bubble" button in the right side of the top banner.
- Enter the Bubble Name for your Bubble. You may also enter a description (Subject).
- You can invite Members by typing their name or email address into the search bar to add them, or by dragging and dropping them from the Recent conversation list.
- To define all members of the invitation list with organizer role, check the option "All members will have the organizer role".
- Define an illustration for your Bubble by choosing a picture from the library or by uploading a picture from your computer.
- Click on the "Create" button to validate the creation of the Bubble. Members will appear in the list of members with the "
" icon until they agree to join the Bubble.
Tips: You can also invite Members via their email address. This is very convenient to invite users who do not yet have a Rainbow account as Guests. Learn more.
- Go to Bubble space clicking on the icon "
Bubble".
- Once you are in the Bubbles space, click on the button "Create a bubble".
- Enter the name for your Bubble. You may also enter a description.
- Invite Members, by tapping them from the list or by searching their name.
- Define an avatar for your Bubble, uploading a picture from your mobile.
- Tap on the icon "
Create" to validate the creation of the Bubble.
- Go to Bubble space clicking on the icon "
Bubble".
- Once you are in the Bubbles space, click on
on the top bar.
- Define an avatar for your Bubble, uploading a picture from your mobile.
- Enter the name for your Bubble. You may also enter a topic.
- Click on “next” in the top bar.
- Invite Members, by tapping them from the list or by searching their name.
- Tap on the icon "Create" to validate the creation of the Bubble.
Edit a Bubble
Role required This function requires the role of Owner or
Organizer of the Bubble. Learn more
You can change the name, the description or the avatar of your Bubble if the information initially filled in is no longer up to date.
- Use one of the following :
- From the "Bubbles" Space, select the menu "
Edit bubble info" by opening the contextual menu
of the bubble to edit.
- From the bubble, open the bubble menu "Other actions" in the right side of the top banner and select "
Bubble parameters".
- You can change the Bubble name, the Bubble subject, the illustration or conference options.
- Click on the button "Apply" to validate the new information.

- Go to the Bubble you wish to edit.

Click on the icon "
Setting" .
- In the menu, choose "
Edit" to open the edit page.
- Change the Bubble name or Bubble topic.
- Click on the button "
Change avatar" to upload a new picture from your computer or choose a new picture from the online library.
- Activate or deactivate the input tone, or mute the micro of participants.
- Click on the button "Apply" to validate the new information.
- Go to the Bubble you wish to edit.
- Click on the top bar
- In the menu, choose "
Edit" to open the edit page.
- Change the Bubble name or Bubble topic
- Click on the button "
Change avatar" to upload a new picture from your phone or choose a new picture from the online library.
- Activate or deactivate the input tone, or mute the micro of participants.
- Click on the button "Ok" to validate the new information.
Create a New Bubble from an Existing One
Role required This function requires the role of Owner or
Organizer of the Bubble. Learn more
You can create a new Bubble from an already existing conversation, based on the same Member list and the same configurations as the original Bubble.
- From the "
Bubble" space, open the bubble you want to use to create your sub-Bubble.
- From the bubble, open the bubble menu "
Other actions" in the right side of the top banner and select "
Create new bubble".
- Choose a name and a subject for your new Bubble.
- Select Members from a list that contains all Members of the original Bubble.
- Define an Illustration for your Bubble by choosing a picture from the library or by uploading a picture from your computer.
- Click on the button "Create" to validate the creation of the Bubble.
Tips: Once the Bubble has been created, you will be able to add Members even if they were not in the search results. Learn more
