- To give more flexibility to the user, new categories can be created in the Tasks section. The number of new categories is linked to the profile associated with the user: Essential: up to 3 categories, Voice/Business: up to 10, Voice/enterprise, Voice/Attendant: up to 20.

Cloud Telephony
- [Voice offer] It is possible to assign up to 5 DDI numbers to a single destination (welcome, member, group/queue and AA). This association is done by an administrator through the DDI numbers tab of the communication screen. All DDI numbers of the destination are available for CLI selection by a user.
- [Voice Enterprise] Transcription of a voice message into text in a conversation allows to reduce the time spent listening to the message. This applies to voice messages recorded in both individual chat and bubbles (not for Hunting groups at this stage). Where possible, transcription will be carried out in the language of the user receiving the voice message.
Cloud & Hybrid Telephony
[Voice / Enterprise -OXO ONLY- based offer] The visual voicemail service is now enhanced with the transcription of a voicemail feature integrated into the visual voice mail interface.
Hybrid Telephony
Supervised calls can be notified with standard long melodies as applied for telephony calls in addition to the pick list of melodies for supervised calls.
ADMIN
Hybrid Telephony
- (Soon) [OXE Hybrid Enterprise] Fixed REX CCD user topology is supported. The Rex number is associated to the Rainbow user by administrator in the user's telephony page.
- (Soon in Early Adopter mode) An admin can manage a CCD user associated to a Rex Pro-ACD so that this one is able to act as a business user, by adding a OXE CCD agent number.
- (Soon) Administrator can deploy a custo-manifest in standalone web application by using a ZIP package must with included resources file. The web app supports browser and RainbowBot actions.
Cloud Telephony
- (Soon) Statistics: around MOS quality score on Rainbow Hub calls using a desk phone are available to an administrator.
- Supported Deskphones: H3G/ALE-2/M8/M3s/M5s/M7s/M7s Pro DeskPhone 2.15.11.000.3006; Myriad DeskPhone 2.14.23.000.2608.
- In multi-site cloud company, a new level 'site' is defined to allow specific settings (range of DDIs) In each site, the Caller ID policy uses the site's default DDI if it exists, else the company default DDI.
- In multi-site cloud company, the MOH can be defined for all the company, per site or per attendant.
- Unused DDI numbers are mapped to the company DDI to avoid missed calls to these destinations. The number of mapped numbers is limited to 100.
- To simplify management of devices settings for network parameters not managed by Rainbow, a BP admin can delegate the access to a device to an EC admin.
All-Admin
- An administrator may open a ticket to ask CCARE team to activate a new option "H.264 codec for screensharing in p2p and bubble calls". This option is expected to improve the quality of screensharing in the case of network degradation.
- (Soon) For Desktop and Web apps, BP Administrators can select a splash screen from the option 'Personalize the splash screen' in the page 'Information -> Customization'. This option can be cascaded to all or some customers. When enable by the BP, an End Customer administrator can modify it for their own company.
- By using the installer setup.exe and MSI an admin can force the incoming call popup position with the parameter /ForceNotificationPosition=Value" (Value=The installer setup.exe and MSI can force this position with the parameter /ForceNotificationPosition=Value" with Value="topLeft, topRight, bottomLeft, bottomRight". If the option is set by the administrator, the setting is not proposed to the end user.
- A new button is available in the Rainbow Room management page to get logs remotely.
- A new version of the document 'Terms of use' is available.
QTC-Admin
- Admin and finance roles: end of date can be given for creation or renewal of monthly subscriptions. Default value is set to zero.

Admin & finance roles:
- Never too late to enter Promotion codes :
- BP forgets to enter the promo code during the subscription creation,
- prepaid subscription to renew with a new promo code,

new discount after extra-discount expiring.
For such cases, BP can open a ticket to support or to their business admin to fill in the missing field.
Analytics
- Admin can detach the Analytics in a separate page by clicking on a new 'Detach' icon. This feature is also available for Hub group supervisors.
- The customers can receive raw data per mail inside Hub Group reports. The 'Content' section of a Group analytics in the Hunt group information tab adds this option to be configured.
- Companies with multiple Hub Hunting Groups are able to send the same report on different groups by using the duplication of a report. All HG of current company for administrators, all HG supervised by their supervisor.
- Applied to Rainbow Web, the mscore report is simplified with a generic value 'browser'.
- [Premium offer] To help chasing old Rainbow versions, a new 'Applications' tab in the Analytics page displays a bar chart representing the number of users per major release of app clients. In addition, for Analytics visibility level set to "User level", it's possible to get these data per user.
- The information in the Audio quality page has been completed with more accurate and contextualized details.
- When they are present in analytic pages, filters, calendars & already used configuration are memorized to be reused when the admin goes back to these pages.

- Adaptative card
The adaptative cards lost their colors.
The correct display is back.
- Analytics
In the call log section of the Voice tab in Analytics, the scroll down was not always working to show all items.
The issue is now fixed.
- Analytics
In group analytics, it was not possible for the creator of the report to add themselves to the emailing list.
This case is taken into account now.
- Blurring
Some degradations in the blurring feature have been raised since the latest upgrades.
They are now fixed.
- Bubble delegation
It was not possible for the initiator of a conference with a group to delegate it at the end to another member of the group having the right license.
The call delegation is now authorized for members of a group.
- Business directory
The LDAP connector didn't populate the business directory with all parameters.
The parameters were not taken into account.
- Call
Options transfer and hold were not available when user answered an incoming call with the headset associated to a Myriad.
The monitoring of the headset was not taken into account.
- Call history
Accessing call history in condensed view could freeze the app if the number of call log entries exceeded a certain limit.
- Conference
Member having added another user into a conversation lost the connection at the establishment of the conference. Other participants remained online.
An attendant console can merge 2 external calls in conference without issues if the user clicks several times to add the second participant.
- Display
While in conference with the Desktop, all recent conversations were seen as 'in call, other devices' on the Rainbow app opened also in the Web.
It happened when the conference was joined without audio. This issue has been fixed.
- Download
User could be unable to download all files from their Rainbow storage.
Rainbow couldn't handle mass downloads very well; the mechanism has been enhanced.
- Edge - supervision
When a call was answered on a supervised user, there were issue with the pop-up that sometimes didn't disappear.
When the Rainbow app has not the focus at the time the call ends, the notification is now closed as well.
- Essential users
When exporting the users as csv file from a Cloud company, Essential users were not present.
This case related to Cloud environment was not taken into account.
- Essential licenses
Administrator could not filter Essential users.
Some evolutions have been made to authorize this kind of filtering.
- Filter
Filtering only essential users was not possible.
This option has been implemented.
- Guided tout
The links under 'Click here for more information' in the Guided tour didn't route the user to any valid page.
The correct redirections have been reestablished.
- Masspro
In company without Hybrid PBX mixing Voice and Hybrid licenses, it was not possible to export the Hybrid users.
The icon allowing this export has been made visible again.
- Phone setting
the parameter "Allow mobile phone to ring" couldn't be permanently disabled for some users.
This setting storage was reinitialized at each start of the application.
- Rainbow API for developers
In supervision group, in 'Mutual aid group parameters', the checkbox 'Lock the last member' didn't reflect the choice 'locked'.
The display is now correct when the lock has been selected.
- Recording
No notification had been received after the recording of a P2P call.
This issue is fixed now.
- Screen sharing
Poor quality resolution could be observed in some screen sharing.
A new introduced codec was not taken into account in screen-sharing and video.
- Scrolling
Scroll down the member list from the device page with the slidebar button didn't work.
This function is reestablished.
- Tones
Outgoing calls sometimes didn't get ringbacktone in Hub environment.
The trigger launching the ringbacktone was stopped too early by the wrong event.
- Transfer
An incoming call routed to an Attendant through a supervised transfer from a VAA needed to be accepted twice to be kept.
The fix was made in Rainbow to overcome an OXE mechanism.
- Translation
German wording has been reviewed
for the start of the polls
in Rainbow plugin for Outlook.
- Translation
Italian wording has been reviewed in Hub administration pages.
- WebRTC GW feature scalability
The need to restart the WebRTC gateway when selecting the max concurrent calls on WebRTC gateway configuration was not displayed in the admin page.
It's done now.
- Webinar reports
The webinar reports didn't take well umlauts in German language.
This typography is taken into consideration now.

Quality
Rainbow Desktop integrates the new HP POLY SDK to be able to manage headsets of HP (Plantronics -Poly - HP).
Collaboration
- Incoming call identification returns the name and the Directory/contact ID giving access to all information about the correspondent, new variables are available for all extension points when a contact card / user has been identified.
- [Softphony] Slight changes have been made to the softphone screen: widgets have been given a new look for the softphony UC.
In the Rainbow store, the section "Add-on plans" is now enhanced by the new Rainbow 'Click to Connect' feature.
Serviceability
Desktop core is now based on Electron V37 (in Chromium 138), to overcome a problem with speaker recognition. To be noted: end of Support for Rainbow on macOS 11: Electron V37 is the last version to support MAC OS 11. Automatic updates to a newer major release will be blocked for macOS <=11. A Desktop v161 will only update with minor v161 releases.
Main fixes

Audio
Some headsets, such as EPOS, Bluetooth devices, got audio issues (audio output, device detection).
The detection process was subject to a timer in the chromium engine. -
Headsets
There were some issues by using Plantronics/Poly headsets since they were managed by HP.
This is fixed in a new development based on the Poly SDK now used by HP to monitor these headsets. -
Headset detection
After turning on a PC, the speaker of Jabra headset couldn't be fully recognized.
This chromium issue has been fixed by upgrading the electron version. -
MSI installer
Using the argument RESTARTAPPLICATIONS in MSI offline - per machine installer overwrote the edge domain parameter.
The application is prevented from modifying certain settings in the registry when starting with admin rights. -
Poly Lens application
There could be some interactions between Rainbow and the Poly Lens application, generating unexpected messages.
An upgrade of a HP component in the tools used for developing the app fixes the issue. -
Webinar
The type of webinar (120 or 500) was not well replicated when using the clone option.
It is now correctly duplicated.

Main fixes
- Call
It was not possible to call a number searched online.
The phone number is now well reported in the calling screen, and the call can be proceeded.
- Caller display
Incoming call on locked device didn't display the correct number.
Data call synchronization could be done too early from PBX.
- Log out
The Rainbow app logged out after the end of the calls.
Too many network notifications led the app to be kicked. An enhancement has been provided to avoid the knock-on effects of such notifications.
- Missed calls
Users seemed disconnected because they weren't receiving calls.
Before call processing, OS killed the app so they were stuck in the TelecomManager. It's fixed now.

Several features have been slightly redesigned: sign-in screens, my profile, guest login screen to a conference.
Rainbow app supports now iOS 26. To be noted: new versions of the Rainbow app will no longer be available on devices running iOS 16 or earlier, starting with the release of Rainbow Solution 161.

User calling their external 4645 voice mail could see "Unknown" instead of the voicemail name on their screen.
The name of the voice mail was not well transmitted. A fix gets around this issue.

Concerned library has been updated to avoid such issue.
- Notifications
Notifications related to a started Webinar were received too lately on the mobile.
Some events unhandled by mobile were not ignored and wrongly considered as webinar-start.
