Quality
- The web page redirecting guest users to the Rainbow mobile app has been redesigned.

Cloud Telephony
- For US market, Rainbow is now compliant with the Kary's law. Direct call '911' is supported and a notification of the call is kept.
- [Voice offer] Hunting Group withdrawal is also available for phones (Myriad, H3G, DECT) by using a service code (entered by a key). An audio feedback is played to inform the user of the status.
Hybrid Telephony
- OXE only Softphone users can declare their temporarily presence on a different site of their company. By calling emergency number, they are rerouted to a local rescue service. This can be set in "My profile" (Other location is proposed as well, in such case, an information message indicates to use a personal phone instead in case of emergency). Not yet available for Teams.
- Forward options have been redesigned for a better user experience.
Infrastructure / Serviceability
- Azure AD - A End Customer admin can select which service can be enable in the Azure directory integration instead of allowing all permissions globally to allow more granularity for a directory integration. The options that can be selected are: Mass-provisioning, Search or Meeting scheduler.

The Softphone-UC has been slightly redesigned, such as:
- added 'active call' in the conversation list (phone calls not considered)
- click on the favorite contact opens the conversation (Rainbow user) or the contact card in pop-up (external/not Rainbow user). - [Softphony] Slight changes have been made to the softphone screen: widgets have been given a new look for the softphony UC.
- Users can choose the location of their incoming call popup by using a value within "topLeft, topRight, bottomLeft, bottomRight" in the new 'Notification Position' setting.
- Some extension points allow up to 3 extensions.
- CPAAS only A new extension is available on makecall to include the user nickname.
ADMIN
Hybrid Telephony
- The option” temporarily presence on a different site of the company” is supported in several VNA topologies (version 3.x and above): one VNA for one dedicated OXE, one VNA for network of OXE within a company & homogeneous numbering plan.
- An administrator is able to deploy a Custo-manifest file from a centralized web admin (archive centrally in Rainbow of a set of custo.manifest, select and affect a file to users so that the user benefit from its use). Custo.manifest file name can be set as an attribute in csv file or in LDPA syn users mapping.
Cloud Telephony
- Mass provisioning of generic SIP devices to users is manageable thanks to their associated mcAddress new optional attribute.
- Myriad S phone range are now part of the Rainbow Hub solution: M3S, M5S, M7S and M7S-Pro. They are compatible with the EM200 Expansion Module.
- Portuguese language is now available in Rainbow Hub sound sets and voicemail.
- A DECT base reboot can be launched from the Base information page for a DECT base in service.
- (planned) Pleiade device range is now supported in Rainbow HUB, with the same feature set as Myriad phones, and can be managed thanks to the Zero Touch mechanism. Some restrictions will be removed in coming months.
All - admin
- By using the installer setup.exe and MSI an admin can force the incoming call popup position with the parameter /ForceNotificationPosition=Value" (Value=The installer setup.exe and MSI can force this position with the parameter /ForceNotificationPosition=Value" with Value="topLeft, topRight, bottomLeft, bottomRight". If the option is set by the administrator, the setting is not proposed to the end user.
- A new parameter is available in the user's permissions to allow or not the customization (1) of the user's avatar: 'Add or change avatar' enabled (by default) /disabled, (2) the calendar synchronization: 'Authorize the synchronization of calendar' Allowed (by default) /Not allowed. To be noted: (2) not delivered yet for Teams.
- “Suspended” accounts and restore them all in a single action by using either the "restore" button or the "import" button in the admin page of the suspended members. In the masspro csv file, a new action 'restore' has to be used.
- Security (Soon) Support of multiple Authentication servers using the same SSO protocol is now authorized (SAML.2 & OpenID Connect allow multiple instances)
- An admin Rainbow can fetch configuration data for SAML Metadata instead of manually configure it.
- In case the desktop app is installed with the msi flag "/FirstStartTeams", there are 2 changes :
- the opened desktop app remains "always on top" (of other windows)
- a simple click / double click opens the app, as for normal app. Thus, ctrl + click is removed in the systray. - Edge specific - A configuration parameter for Edge servers has been added to be able to personalize the font used by the Rainbow web client application.
QTC - Admin finance
- In the invoice tab, a new IDR file is made available in addition to the invoice pdf to compensate for inconsistencies of subscriptions not managed directly by Rainbow by including POD, NaaS...
- A commercial program code entered at the subscribing of new licenses, is permanently displayed (not editable). Promo codes about an extra discount price display the end date of the extra-discounted price, information relative to a discounted price linked to a promo code are displayed to the admin finance: Contracted value / WPL price / Discount value.
- New OXO promo code can be set, formatted as given on Actis OXO-Connectivity and Fleet Dashboard side.
ANALYTICS
- The audio quality page has been slightly reworked to get the same user interface than in Voice - call history page.
- Automated report emails can be sent from group supervisor or admins for Hub groups to any email address. The frequency is manageable.
- Admins can select multiple filters in the audio quality dashboard.
- A new button "Send now" allows to receive an immediate report when a user has created or updated it.
Main fixes
App opening
A copy/paste of a Google Chrome URL while the Rainbow web client was open, didn't open the Rainbow login page.
The copy/paste allows now to land correctly to the right Rainbow page.
Invitations
Webinar organizers had difficulties to download ICS files in outlook.
These actions have been improved.
Citrix & BCR- Second calls
For users connected on citrix platform and with second ringtone + notifications activated, from the second call, notifications and second ring tones didn't work anymore on the web application.
A fix has been made around the selection of the device at the start-up to keep the user's configuration.
Supervision
Sometimes, empty boxes were displayed during call transfers. The subsequent participants were then not shown.
The web application now properly manages more than 100 supervised users for one supervisor
Rainbow alert
From the second alert sent, the alert tone was heard only in the headset and never more in the secondary ringer (here: notebook). The first sent event was not correctly acknowledged.
Azure AD
Indirect Reseller administrators couldn't perform the synchronization between Azure AD and Rainbow.
The authorization was not well managed for an Indirect Reseller when acting at the End Customer level and the administration page was not correct.
Records
Recordings were not available for outgoing calls.
Call release by distant party for external calls led to such inconsistency.
Display
- In the Rainbow updates section, 'low' notification was not well aligned in German.
The alignment has been done for this field.

Waiting room
Guest users assigned in a waiting room got an inappropriate message related to a notification center.
This sentence has been removed.
Analytics
Used white text on yellow background was not easily readable.

Free up storage space
The information to free up storage space was not accurate: all files were displayed.
Only owner's files are displayed now for cleaning.
Spelling
Error in sentence when receiving a notice about poor network connection has been corrected.
Ergonomics
The user's field 'Department' has been extended to make it easier to read.
Highlighted text was barely unreadable in the Rainbow updates section when the app used the dark mode.
Display
The display mentioning users on hold in Hunting group with waiting queue for more than one minute has been corrected.
Outgoing calls
When user didn't want to be disturbed on PC while managing the call on his deskphone, Rainbow was raising at every call managed on office mode.
It has been fixed: when in office mode, rainbow remains hidden except when call is taken from the notification or call is made via Rainbow interface.
Translation
German wording has been reviewed

Programmable keys
All programmable keys could disappear from Myriad M8.

- Rainbow supports the Kuando busylight. This device provides information status about the user's presence in their working environment.
Serviceability
- Desktop core is now based on Electron V36. To be noted: to permit MAC OS 10.15 users to continue to use desktop v149, new Desktop with Electron V34 will block auto-update to major version > 149.
Support
- New ALE DECT headsets AD51 & AD52 with USB cable are supported (coming soon: ALE DECT base station).

Quality
- When the DND is set on the Android device, to not lose Rainbow calls, in addition to the notifications posted by Rainbow, the user may activate anyway ringing authorization for the Rainbow application.
Collaboration
- Any forwarded message can be displayed together with the original sender's name.
- In the settings, user can select page to land on when connecting to Rainbow (default page remains Channels')
- From Admin, it's possible to restrict user's rights to receive files (P2P & Bubbles) from colleagues or from external Rainbow users.
- The name of the user who pinned a message is displayed slightly differently from previous versions.
- A @user mention notification from a bubble is displayed in the user's notification center, allowing to know who was notifying, in which bubble, the content of the chat and to reach directly the appropriate bubble.
- Enabling bulk deletion of files on a monthly basis enhances the file management.
- Mobile users can share their screen in conferences or P2P calls, for better collaboration. This improvement provides flexible control over quality and shared content.

- User can shortcut selected contact on the home page of their mobile: for collaboration, shortcut opens Rainbow in the contact's chat, for telephony, shortcut makes a call to the selected number.
- It's possible to add directly the full contact list to a bubble for adding several users at once.
- The image viewing quality has been enhanced in the conversation gallery. In addition, a pinch-to zoom feature has been implemented to enable the inspection of an image.
- Touching the top bar of a channel displays detailed information about it and authorized actions related to the creator / the users.
- Webinar
- Organizers and speakers are able to manage their webinars directly from their mobile devices. It provides essential tools to monitor and adjust webinar details.
- Speaker users benefit from enhancements to get better experience from webinar along the process from creation to participation.
- Any user invited to a webinar as a speaker is now notified in the notification center and in the system notification management. The invitation can be accepted or refused from both locations.

Network
Some customers regularly got disconnected from the network for the Rainbow application alone.
This issue has been fixed.
Missed calls
Missed calls were sometimes not recorded in the smartphone.
- Improvements have been made to the connection between the device and the network to ensure that such events are not lost in less-than-optimal conditions.
- Missed call notification could disappear quickly.
Notifications from external contacts where immediately removed because of a side effect of reworking.

- When clicking in the search bar, the recent searches are now suggested by default. It's possible to clear them at once with the 'Clear all' option.
- User can insert the content of a QR code from the smartphone camera.
- A user can tap on a reply to another message to go up to the original one, as it's already done for Web & Android apps.
- In a conversation, swiping a message to the right allows to start replying to it straight away, without wasting time looking for the 'reply' option.
- For better user experience in conferences, detection mechanisms of video quality and network congestion have been enhanced to compensate for the negative effects.
User interface
- A new loading animation is replacing the spinner.
- To enhance iPad ergonomics, hotkey shortcuts are available on iPad with external keyboard.
- The application has been redesigned and improved in several sections for a better user experience and more responsivity.
Main fixes
Crash
Starting a conference in some bubble could crash the Rainbow app.
An inconsistency in information in previous messages led to this behavior .
Synchronization
Messages were no longer synchronized between iOS and the web application once they had been read.
Date of some messages were incorrectly processed, leading to this inconsistency.
Second call
Initiate a second call by pressing 'search' a dial the phone number didn't work anymore.
The specific phone number search was no more managed in the contact manager after a refactoring.
