This document describes the configuration to be applied to the DECT base station and the Grandstream DP750 & DP720 3rd party SIP telephones for connection to the Alcatel Rainbow Hub solution.
Go to the web interface of your Grandstream extension, where you can obtain the IP address of the terminal on the Grandstream extension directly.
Online to the Grandstream terminal's web interface, using http.
Then enter the following credentials:
Username = admin
Password = admin
SIP profile configuration
SIP server configuration
Go to Profiles > Profile 1 > General settings
Then enter the information obtained from the Rainbow interface.
To configure voicemail, enter voicebox in the " Voice Mail Access Number " field.
Configuring SIP parameters
To configure the various SIP elements linked to the profile, go to the Profile > Profile 1 > SIP Settings > Basic Settings menu and edit the following items:
Note: Using SIPS can cause functionality problems.
Enable SIP registration
RTP port configuration
In the same menu, you can edit the DECT base station's RTP ports:
MEVO configuration
In the same menu, set the " Subscribe for MWI " option to " yes ".
Session Timer configuration
In the Profiles > Profile 1 > SIP Settings > Session Timer menu, set the following parameters:
User registration
To register users for log-in, go to DECT menu > SIP Account Settings and enter the following parameters:
Audio settings (DTMF, SRTP, Codecs)
Settings are configured in the Profiles > Profile 1 > Audio Settings menu.

The codecs have been defined in the following order:
- G.711A (pcma)
- G.711U (pcmu)
- OPUS

Dial plan configuration
To access voicemail, you need to set the " Bypass Dial Plan " option to " yes " in the Profiles > Profile 1 > Call Settings menu.
Configuring security parameters
In the Profiles > Profile 1 > SIP Settings > Security Settings menu, configure the settings as shown below:

To import certificates, it is necessary to separate them into three parts. The phone doesn't support importing all three certificates at once, resulting in an error on the web interface. It is therefore essential to split the certificates into three separate files, in .pem format.
Once the three files have been created, go to the Maintenance > Security Settings > Security menu, then configure the parameters as shown below.
Configuring network settings
To configure DHCP or activate static addressing mode (not recommended) on the phone's network card, go to the Setting > Network Settings > Basic settings menu, then tick DHCP in the " IP Address Mode " option.
Configure NTP settings :
In the Maintenance > Date and Time menu, you can set the NTP server(s).
