Rainbow Hub configuration
Rainbow Hub configuration involves creating the user and then the 3rd party SIP device to be associated with the user. This configuration is applied as follows:
Connection to Rainbow Hub administration interface
To configure the user and 3rd party device, you need to have administrator rights to the Rainbow Hub interface.
Online with your administrator account on your Rainbow Desktop or Rainbow Hub client, then select the administration icon.
User creation
This step is optional if you wish to associate a 3rd Party SIP device with an existing user.
To create a user, go to the menu: Administration > Members
Then select "Create".
Create your user by filling in the fields indicated in the configuration interface.
Creating a 3rd Party device
To create a 3rd Party device, go to the menu: Administration > Communication > Devices
Then select "Create
Select Device Type to Generic SIP
The Disable media encryption option must remain unchecked, as the media is secured between the Rainbow platform and the 3rd Party SIP terminal.
Select the user you wish to associate the 3rd Party extension with by entering the name of the user you've created in the Member field.
Then click on the "Create" button .
Get extension registration information
To obtain the information you'll need to connect your extension to the Rainbow Hub platform, click on the Device you've created, using the 3 dots to show the Device Information .
Go to the SIP Options menu to obtain the information to be applied to the extension to register it with the platform.
