This document describes the configuration to be applied to Yealink T3 3rd Party SIP telephones for connection to the Alcatel Rainbow Hub solution.
Go to the web interface of your Yealink extension, you can obtain the IP address of the terminal on the Yealink extension directly.
Online to the Yealink terminal's web interface using HTTP or HTTPS.
Default login information :
- Login : admin
- Password: admin
Account interface configuration
Register interface configuration
Go to Account > Register
Then enter the information obtained from the Rainbow interface.
Once the configuration has been applied, the workstation should try to register with the Rainbow Hub platform, but registration will fail. You need to complete the configuration before registration takes effect.

Codec interface configuration
Configure codecs as follows:
- PCMA
- PCMU
- Opus
Advanced interface configuration
Configure MWI to enable voicemail functionality on the Yealink extension.
Configure RTP Encryption (SRTP) to enable media encryption.
Network interface configuration

If you don't have a DNS server in your infrastructure, you'll need to apply one in the Network settings.
Go to the menu: Network > Basic
For the test environment, DNS server 8.8.8.8 was used.
Advanced interface configuration
In the Advanced interface, you can configure the port range to be used for the media (voice).
This port range must be authorized by the firewall in order for audio streams to function correctly.
The default port range for media is :
- Start port: 11780
- End port: 12780

Please note: the time configuration on the terminal is important to establish the TLS interconnection between the Yealink terminal and the Rainbow Hub server.
If you don't have an NTP server in your infrastructure, you can apply either a static configuration (by setting a date manually on the terminal) or define an NTP server provided by DHCP or configured manually.
Configuring the Security interface
Download the trusted certificate from the Rainbow interface.
Configure TLS certificate validation as follows:
- Only Accept Trusted Certificates : Enabled
- Common Name Validation : Enabled
- CA Certificates : Default Certificates
