This feature is also available for members with Analytics role.
This article describes the Users and Licenses metrics, displayed in the "Users" tab from your Global Dashboard. Consult the General Overview article for more information about the Global Dashboard.
Note: Only users with a license other than Essential are taken into account in the 'Users' tab. Thus, the data may differ from the Global Dashboard which reports every user.
These analytics are available:
- In the Global dashboard.
- In the dedicated "Users" tab for 1-year analytics.
Active, Sleeping and Inactive Licensed Users
Users are categorized into three groups based on their recent activity:
- Active users are users who have used Rainbow at least once over the last 7 days.
- Sleeping users are users who have used Rainbow at least once but not over the last 7 days.
- Inactive users are users who have never used Rainbow.
- Select the help icon
to display information about the graphic.
- Move the mouse over a legend to display only the corresponding data.
- Click on a legend to activate or deactivate the corresponding data.
- Select a view:

- Use the mouse wheel or adjust the period slider to display data for a range spanning from a full year to one or several consecutive weeks, or one to several consecutive days.
- Hover over the chart with your mouse to display the values for the day where the cursor is positioned.
Note: Download CSV file by selecting the download icon .
Daily, Weekly and Monthly Active Licensed Users
Number of licensed users active on that day for ‘daily’, within 7 days for ‘weekly’ and within 28 days for ‘monthly’. For example, the value associated to ‘daily’ on January 28th is the number of users active on January 28th, while the value for ‘weekly’ (resp. ‘monthly') on the same day is the number of users active at least once between January 22nd and January 28th (resp. between January 1st and January 28th).
- Select the help icon
- Move the mouse over a legend to display only the corresponding data.
- Click on a legend to activate or deactivate the corresponding data.
- Select a view:

Two aggregated and two per-day views are available:

Pie chart for the snapshot view of the last day of the dashboard period.

Bar chart for the snapshot view of the last day of the dashboard period.

Line chart for the per-day view of the dashboard period. Best to see the evolution and numbers of each group separately.

Area chart for the per-day view of the dashboard period. The areas are stacked so that the top line of the graph represents the total number of users.
