This article allows to configure attendant consoles for a company associated to a Cloud PBX.
To use their Rainbow application as attendant consoles, company members must be granted a Voice Attendant license: see procedure below.
Once granted a Voice attendant console, company members can log in to their Rainbow application and access their attendant console by clicking on in the left panel.
Attendants can belong to:
- Attendant groups, which can be called using a single directory number: see article Configure attendant hunt groups.
- Supervision groups: see article Configure supervision groups. Once attendants are declared as supervisors, they can:
- Monitor the state of their supervised members (presence and phone activity)
- Manage calls for supervised members (e.g. call pickup and call transfer)
- Manage the current personal routine of supervised members
- Forward the supervised members to their voice mailbox
- Cancel the call forwarding programmed by supervised member
In addition, the default music-on-hold played to callers on hold, can be customized: see article: Customize voice prompts.
Warning: Company members, with attendant license, cannot use anymore:
- Rainbow application on mobile
- Telephone device, if configured: the telephone device association is deleted after enabling attendant console
