Do you want to boost your webinars through public chat? Or do you prefer to close the chat and keep things running smoothly? Before and during the webinar, an host or co-host can modify the chat setings. That settings will be applied instantly for all participants.
Note: The modification can be done only from the web or desktop application but chat options will be updated on all platforms.
Chat Options
Configure the chat options during the webinar.
- Public: Attendees can use the chat to send messages to organizers and other attendees.
- Private: Attendees can only send messages to organizers. Attendees cannot see messages from other attendees.
- Presentation: Attendees can view the organizers messages. Only organizers can write and send messages in the chat.
- Select the " Webinars" tab.
- Select " Webinar Parameters" by opening the contextual menu of the webinar to edit.
- Select the " Advanced settings" tab in the webinar window.
- Select Chat options.
- Click on "Close" button (or the close button of the window) to go back to "Webinars" tab.
Tips: Host and speaker can download the chat in order to get all messages shared during the webinar.
