Clear notification clutter in a single click. Delete all your @-mention notifications at once and keep your notification center focused on what matters now. - Moderated conference mode [Premium offer | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
Run large meetings of 200+ participants with the new moderated conference mode. Organizers lead as panelists that everyone can see and hear, while attendees watch, listen and raise their hand to be invited to speak. Activate it from the bubble settings on Web or Desktop; mobile users can join and take part. - Task deadlines and reminders [All offers | All devices]
Stay on top of your work. Set due dates on your tasks and receive timely reminders so nothing important slips through the cracks. - Caller’s company on incoming calls [All offers | Web, Desktop, Android]
Know who’s calling before you answer: incoming calls from external contacts now show the caller’s company, department or tag. Choose which details to display in your settings. - Camera preview before going live [All offers | All devices]
See exactly how you’ll appear before you go live. A new preview screen lets you check your camera, apply background blur or a virtual background, and confirm — all before your video is shared with other participants. - Polls in the notification center [All offers | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
Never miss a poll again: new polls in your bubbles now show up in your notification center with a direct Vote action. When a poll ends, you’re notified and can see the results in one click. - Keep and browse search results [All offers | Web, Desktop]
Your search results now stay on screen when you open a contact, so you can browse several results without searching again. Mobile apps already work this way. - Share a channel by link [All offers | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
Channel owners can now share their channel with a single link. Anyone in the company who opens it lands on the channel page and can subscribe in one click, with no more one-by-one invitations. Available for open channels. - Bubble settings at a glance [All offers | Web, Desktop]
See how a bubble is configured at a glance: tags in the bubble list and the conversation header now show active settings such as link sharing, waiting room, password, dial-in, auto clean-up, Push-to-Talk and moderated conference. Hover over a tag to see what the setting means. - No ringing for VIP users when a conference starts [Enterprise offer | All devices] [Admin]
Give executives and VIP profiles a distraction-free experience: selected users can now be excluded from the audio ring when a bubble conference starts, while still receiving a discreet visual notification. - Hide previous history from new bubble members [Enterprise offer | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
Control what new bubble members can see: when you add people to a bubble or share it by link, you can now hide all earlier messages, files and polls. New joiners start with a blank slate and only see content shared after they arrive. - Redesigned search [Enterprise, Business, Premium offers | Web, Desktop]
Search has been redesigned: a single window brings together what you’re looking for (people, bubbles, messages), advanced filters and a choice of directories. Results can be grouped by directory, and you can open any result without losing your list. - Clearer filter in the Contacts tab [All offers | Web, Desktop]
In the Contacts tab, the “Search for contacts” field is now labeled as a filter, making it clear that it narrows down the contacts already shown rather than searching all your address books. - Control who can create channels [All offers | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
Admins can now choose who is allowed to create channels, separately from who can use and join them, through a new “Create channels” permission in each profile. Existing settings are carried over automatically, so nothing changes for your users until you decide otherwise. - Search contacts by company [All offers | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
Know the company but can’t remember the person’s name? Search for contacts by company name, then narrow the results by first name, department or other details, across your Rainbow, Microsoft and personal directories. - More file storage for Premium plans [Premium offer | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
Premium and Voice Premium users now get 30 GB of file storage instead of 20 GB. The extra space is added automatically, with no action needed and no change to your existing files. - Non-clickable links in messages [Enterprise offer | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
Protect your users from malicious links: admins can now make links in IMs and channels non-clickable for the whole company. When the setting is on, URLs are shown as plain text, which reduces the risk of phishing. - Voice announcement when a recording starts or stops [All offers | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
A voice announcement now tells everyone in a bubble conference when a recording starts or stops, guests included. Each participant hears it in their own app language (English, French, German or Spanish), so nobody misses it even when they aren’t looking at the screen. - Protection against several accounts in the same browser [All offers | Web]
Rainbow now detects when a second Rainbow account connects in the same browser session and warns you, avoiding conflicts during webinars and meetings. When you open a meeting link and choose the desktop app, you can also remember that choice for next time.
Cloud & Hybrid Telephony
- Conditional forward icon [All offers | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
A new icon shows at a glance when a conditional forward (on busy or no reply) is active. Hover over it to see the forward type and destination, for example “Forward on busy to voicemail”. - Personal numbers in the number dialog [All offers | Web, Desktop]
Your personal numbers are now one click away when you forward, transfer, make a call or set another phone. A new tab in the number dialog lists your own numbers, including the ones you used last. - Search to add a new call [All offers | Web, Desktop]
Adding a new call during a call no longer means typing a number on the keypad. You can now search your contacts or pick a speed dial, just like when you transfer a call, and the New call button is also available in softphone mode. - Call history shows who a call was initially for [All offers | Web, Desktop, iOS, Android]
(soon) Your call history now shows when a call was originally meant for someone else, with an “Initially for…” label. For Hub users, forwarded calls also show who they were redirected to. - Site administrators for multi-site Cloud PBX [Web Admin]
Multi-site companies can now name a site administrator for each site. Site admins manage their site’s users, licenses and phone numbers, as well as welcome services, auto-attendants, calendars and voice prompts, without touching the rest of the company.
Connectors
- Custom conversation tab for extensions [Enterprise, Business offers | Web, Desktop]
Third-party applications can now add their own custom tab to Rainbow conversations, available in one-to-one calls and in the Meeting tools during bubble conferences. - Zimbra calendar connector [All offers | Web, Desktop]
Rainbow now connects to Zimbra calendars: your current meeting, next meeting and out-of-office status are synchronized automatically to your Rainbow presence. Admins set up the Zimbra server once from the administration console.
Analytics
- Centralized Hub report management [Admin]
Admins can now manage all their Hub reports from one place. From the Reports tab, you can create, edit, copy, send or delete any report without opening each group’s settings. - More groups in Hub analytics [Hub telephony | Web Admin]
Hub analytics no longer limits you to 5 groups: you can now select as many groups as you need. Charts are shown for up to 10 groups, and above that the data stays available in the table view. - Redesigned call details in Rainbow Audio Analytics [Admin]
The audio quality details of a call have been redesigned: key network metrics, audio activity, a timeline of incidents and a list of the main issues with their probable causes help you assess a call’s quality at a glance. The full report can also be exported.
Quality
- Support for machines without a graphics card [All offers | Web, Desktop]
Rainbow now runs more reliably on low-end machines without a GPU: video features can work without GPU acceleration, avoiding crashes and display issues.
Other
- Turn off expiry emails for auto-renewed subscriptions [Web Admin]
Business Partners can now stop subscription-expiry emails from being sent to a customer’s admin when that customer’s subscriptions are set to renew automatically. If only some subscriptions auto-renew, the email lists just the ones that will actually expire. - Updated Rainbow Service Description [Web Admin]
The Rainbow Service Description has been updated (July 1, 2026 version) and is available in the administration portal. It now covers the new annual payment option for 1-, 3- and 5-year Rainbow licences, as well as the HDS Attendant and Click to Connect offers, with updated Help Center links. - SIRET number and electronic address for French CPaaS customers [Web Admin]
To comply with mandatory e-invoicing in France from September 1, French CPaaS customers can now enter their SIRET number and electronic invoicing address in their billing information. Both details are required before subscribing to a CPaaS offer and deploying an application. - Frame agreement promo codes limited to upfront payment [Web Admin]
Frame agreement promo codes can now only be applied to subscriptions with upfront payment. If you try to use one on an annual-payment subscription, a clear message asks you to change the payment period. - EUR and USD price list update
Update the EUR and USD price lists.
