Collaboration
- [Enterprise offers] A Meeting Tools Panel available during an active conference bubble is replacing the existing popup behavior for recording management and centralizes all meeting-related tools into a unified tab-based interface.
- Directory - A new option in the user's general settings (Contact section) allows users to force the retrieval of all entries with the same email about one contact in the search.
- [Enterprise offers] Without interfering with a starting of a conference, some parameters can be set beforehand to enable recording and/or AI transcription.
- Collaboration / Webinar [Enterprise] Sounds to announce start/stop of recording have been changed.
- [All] [Web (Chrome only)] By using a "pop-out" button, users can put the recording player in a separate window from Rainbow. The player can be brought back at any time.

Cloud Telephony
- New functions are available in the group call log: copy a called number, create a contact from a called number.
- [Voice offer] The call parking feature allows a user to park the active call on a parking slot, later to retrieve by unparking it from the parking slot by the same user (device change) or any other user (transfer by voice).
- [Voice offer] Soft phones follow the same rules as Deskphone from now when an incoming call is rejected: in both cases, the call will follow busy rules associated with the user as when he is busy.
- [Voice offer] The management of the Welcome Service calendar is extended to some users: as these calendars need to be regularly updated according to the customer's activity, the update of these calendars should be extended to the users: Hunting group admin, when a welcome service is associated with the group. The calendar tab is only presented if the calendar is dedicated to this group/ Welcome admin as a new role (all calendars).
- [All] The custom status of a Rainbow routine applies automatically, even with (O365/Google) calendar active. This update standardizes message management across all clients apps.
- [Voice offer] [Desktop, Web] When a welcome service with voice prompts is associated with a hunting/queue group, the group manager is able to manage these voice prompts in its group management user interface.
Hybrid Telephony
- On incoming call, the "Waiting Time" is presented in the incoming call popup and in the call card to the agent informing in seconds how long the caller has been waiting in the CCD queuing.
Others
- Security - The policy for infected files management has been strengthened in the File Anti-virus scanning.
- Extension - A new extension allows embedding a customized widget in Rainbow application to interact directly with a non-Rainbow module.
- Extension - It's possible by clicking in Rainbow to access a web application from another domain and open it in a web browser or in the main iframe of Rainbow. This also applies if an extension is using a rest API call.
ADMIN
Cloud Telephony
- The Outbound prefix is now optional for the following countries: France, Great Britain, Australia, Germany, Spain
- An administrator can create a new group "call center queue" to enable a basic call center (MVP) provided they have subscribed to voice enterprise license.
- In the queue settings, an admin can enable or disable the announcement to new callers arriving in a call queue of their position in the queue.
- In the waiting queue settings, an admin can manage the "auto-withdrawal» parameters: enabled/disabled and max number of no answer before auto-withdrawal.

- Analytics
- To improve the readability and usability, the audio quality list has been redesigned.
- Blocked numbers calling a Hub party are now tagged with more accuracy (no entry icon) and can be filtered as such.
- The Audio quality tab provides administrators with advanced analytics on the audio quality of the calls by identifying the main causes for poor call experience (the “bad” tag in front of the call is completed by another symbol identifying the source of non-quality.
- This feature provides administrators with a single place, without navigating to each group, to see all configured reports across the company and identify those with external recipients to assess potential data security concerns.
- Customers will have access to analytics by using API.
- Quote to cash - A BP is allowed to be invoiced yearly for a new prepaid subscription by selecting the Yearly upfront payment in the section Payment period.
- Provisioning - To normalize Rainbow usages with fewer options let to user's preference, the user's profiling has evolved. User can use the service and control the settings by himself/ user cannot use the service/ user uses the service and cannot change the associated settings.
- AI - An admin can create, manage, and make tailored custom prompts available for their users, enhancing the flexibility of AI meeting summaries. It’s available for companies having AI configuration supporting it (not the case for Gladia)
Main fixes
- Custo.manifest
There was no CRM record retrieval by Custo.manifest for incoming calls on a multiline mode user.
The queued call state was not correctly managed for custom incoming call pbx actions.
- Ergonomics
Default avatar "Business" channel was not contrasted enough in dark theme.
The contrast has been modified.
- SSO
User with an SSO account could reset Rainbow password and bypass SSO authentication.
Users are not allowed anymore to change their password if they are configured to use an SSO authentication method (but admin role).
- German translation has been corrected in audio settings, in Call log.
- Call Log
Some missed calls could not be called back.
A feature that prevented extension numbers from being displayed in the menus if the callers were from different companies has been updated.
- User profile
In the user's personal information, the checkbox was still ticked after a modification even if it had been deactivated.
The user interface has been modified to get rid of this ergonomic issue.
- Search
Searching for LDAP contacts did not work correctly in Web application.
The collect of results gave only the first entry. Some new settings have been added to configure this according to the user's needs.
- Forward
"Forward when busy in a Rainbow Call” feature activated by user didn't work properly for the option 'Other internal number'.
This regression has been fixed.
- Video quality
The video quality of a Rainbow peer-to-peer conversation was not always good.
Some improvements have been added to the audio recording.
- Display
In the chat space, the action bar could overlap with the text.
It has been fixed.
- Analytics
Answered call ratio and incoming calls were inverted in the Group analytics.
The results have been restored to the correct fields.
- New German translation is available in the control center page of Webinars.
- Bottom bar
The proposed actions at the bottom bar were not translated into German until the user clicked on each button.
The issue due to the rework on the app is now fixed.
- AppData folder
The AppData cache folder has grown disproportionately since the last update.
Clear data actions are added at certain events.
- Incoming call
In companies using a notification server (TAMAT) incoming calls could be displayed as 'unknown'.
Even if the next one is presented quickly after an initial call, all data received is processed.
- Folders
Dragging bubbles into folders caused the folders to shift visually before returning to their original positions.
The operation was considered to be a drag an image, this has been fixed.
- Display
Text could be overlapped, especially when selecting the content and choosing the inner code formatting option.
It has been fixed.
- Rainbow HDS
The Shift+Enter combination no longer created a line break.
It has been brought back.
- Calls
Some incoming calls to « mutual supervision groups » remain stuck on ringing state although they were answered by supervisee.
Supervision messages were incompletely treated.
- Chat
Inserting URLs containing a semicolon (;) into chat messages caused incomplete links for the recipient.
The URL is rebuilt properly now with all characters.
- Contrast
Values in calendar were unreadable in Cloud Telephony in dark theme.
'OFF' option in settings was not clear enough in dark mode.
Some texts were quite unreadable in Rainbow updates in dark theme.
The contrast allows now to read all values.
- Custom status
The custom status could be seen by other members after it expired.
The presence status was not reconsidered correctly by the Rainbow client.
- Display
German text was truncated when clicking the telephone mode icon.
The information has been reworked to be fully visible when you hover over it with the mouse
- Popup
The popup related to an incoming call transferred internally displayed the wrong number.
The switch of conversation/call is properly taken into account
- Start screen
User didn't see the selected start screen when opening the client.
The option is now correctly taken into account.
- Supervised call
While calls were ringing on the supervisor's line, after the supervisor left the group, the calls continued to ring at his station even if they were answered elsewhere.
The calls were not cleaned properly in such a case.
- Telephony icon
The 'Telephone services currently unavailable' icon could be displayed twice.
This issue is fixed now.
- Transfer
It was not possible to transfer a call to an internal destination when another incoming call arrived to the same user from overflow.
Several fixes help to avoid falling into such situation.

- User experience [All] In addition to the systray icon, a small user interface can be enable in user's general settings to be displayed with a set accessible feature (Audio configuration icon, call-log with notification badge, Voice mail with notification badge, Notification icon, search field). When idle, the bar can reduce itself to a minimal reminder in the upper part of the screen.
Main fixes
- Outlook
The new Outlook version didn't have Rainbow options and recipients got untranslated messages.
A new web-based Outlook add-in will be released in the next months to replace the current VSTO Outlook add-in.
- The add-in will integrate Portuguese language.

Quality
- The new version is now compatible with Apple's Liquid Glass interface (which provides smooth, transparent and dynamic visual effects).
- For better reading comfort, all pop-up windows containing numbers are displayed with the same font size: they are displayed in two lines.
- Using tags in conversation settings is easier now.
- The channel creation/modification has been redesigned.
- When text size has been enlarged across multiple screens, the text size increase is applied overall in the app: text remains legible when the font size is increased to at least 200%.
Collaboration
- When administrator enables the new setting "Display the duration of presence states", the duration of the presence status “Away” or “Offline” is shown by the other users of the company having subscribed to the company user's presence.
- Users may react to messages with emoji. The emoji palette includes a search bar and organized categories such as "Recent", "Efficient working " (including predefined list) and "Other Categories."
- Images in push notification help to highlight the notifications.
- The presence status is added to the user's avatar, as already done in Web and Android apps.

- CarPlay
- Audio paused for some seconds when Rainbow app was opened. It's fixed.
- CarPlay showed unread messages although Siri was unable to find some.
- Messages received by push remote notification were not correctly saved in the cache
- Remanence
- When using the keypad, the number never disappeared. The old number had to be deleted in order to dial a new number.
- Now the numbers are always reset.
- Import
- Import in bulk of contacts was not fully populated in iOS.
- The fetch of data is now performed in larger packets to avoid this issue.
- Call failure
- Rainbow call released first by external caller generated a call failure error.
- Fix has been provided to take into account the new behavior of Callkit in iOS26
- Format
- Code block formatting was not applied.
- The new used format was not yet managed by the iOS client
- German translation has been corrected in Webinar joining screen.
- Siri
- When receiving a call, the caller announcement gave the name and the phone number instead of only the name.
- Rainbow limits now the announcement to the name

- File could disappear from iOS after being sent.
- It was a regression due to a rework on files.

AD/LDAP connector
- An admin is able to deploy LDAP connector for multiple companies on the same Windows machine want to provision/synchronize from shared AD/LDAP servers.
- Admin - The multi-instance configuration allows up to 20 ports to create services.
- Admin - Microsoft consent for personal contacts is now managed centrally and not from a end user side. Access to these contacts is done by Rainbow cloud and not only by Teams connector.
